The Full Story

ADVERTEL was founded in November 1990.  An owner of auto repair-convenience stores approached me with a question.  "Can you make a message for us -- so when customers call and are put on hold, they'll hear more about us?".  From my youth I had played with recorders, microphones; I had connected amplifiers and speakers.  when I turned 16, I studied requirements for my 3rd Class FCC broadcast permit and passed!  The local AM radio station in that town accepted my application and they gave me the opportunity to go live!  So, though the proposition from the auto repair facilities' owner appeared challenging, I took it on.  What began in a single location soon spread to all his stores!  And now available nationwide.

Equipment has changed over the years.  New applications have to be employed.  Over thirty years, ADVERTEL has been on the forefront of developments delivering to our customers the very best sound for their phone systems, in store broad casting and lot casting!
